We believe that everyone should have easier access to a wider variety of quality, affordable wines from around the globe, and to experience wine as close to when it was first produced in the vineyard. The way wine was intended to be enjoyed – from the barrel to the glass.
Our goal is to make the highest quality wine, from around the world, financially available to anyone and to assist the food service industry in expanding their business by offering a more diverse selection of wines to their customers, which were not previously available to them.
How do we overcome the high costs associated with importing wine and providing diversity without sacrificing the high-quality standards the producers, restaurateurs and consumers demand? Solving these issues became the genesis for Amore4wines… and thankfully, we have the solution!
Wine by the glass continues to gain popularity within the US, but it comes at a high cost and minimal selection for the consumer. There is far too much waste associated with opening a new bottle should it not all be sold within the first day. Therefore, the cost of the bottle is passed to the consumer in each pour and restaurants will greatly limit the types of wines they make available by the glass. Wine in kegs addresses the issue of diversity of selection. However, the costs associated with producing and importing traditional steel kegs, coupled with the need for returning and tracking them adds an additional layer of cost and complexity to the process. Furthermore, the quality of wine is also compromised in steel kegs as the wine is exposed to various gases needed to propel the wine from the keg.
Amore4wine introduces One Way PET kegging technology to the wine industry. PET Kegs are inexpensive, lightweight, disposable, recyclable, safe, economical and have zero impact on quality of wine. Our PET Kegs utilize a bladder thereby eliminating any contact from gases directly on the wine ensuring the wine maintains the same quality from the first pour to the last. Our PET kegs can be incorporated into any existing businesses / bar set-up draft systems currently being used. An added bonus is the PET Kegs greatly reduce the carbon footprint associated with the manufacturing of glass or steel.
Elimination of barriers between costs, quality wine and consumers – Mission Accomplished.
